Finding Your Creative Practice

Chestnut Grove Studios is bringing a new class format to Spring Hill Enrichment Center!

Do you:

  • have a creative energy

  • enjoy playing with paint, markers, stamps, washi tape & ALL.THE.THINGS.

  • have an interest in art journaling

  • need to make time for you

  • want to expand your artistic toolbox

  • desire to connect with other creative women

Then the last Sunday of the month is now reserved for YOU!

For over four years I have been doing something for myself that I am now ready to share with you. I am going to open up my four volumes of journals and let you see how they have evolved - the many techniques I have experimented with - the ones I still use and the ones I have let go. The layouts I find helpful for everything from meal planning... to gift ideas for family and friends... to remembering birthdays... to my granddaughters recording our last vacation day-by-day.

When you gather around the art table with these women, you will experience what I call:

You will be allowed to:

  • nurture your creative soul

  • make a mess (and leave it for me to clean up)

  • exercise a new part of your brain

  • relieve stress

  • challenge yourself

  • make new friends

  • play with art supplies

  • establish and sustain your own creative practice

If you want to connect with a group of creative women who give support, confidence, hope and love to your creative soul, then please join us for this new class at Spring Hill Enrichment Center. Classes begin on Sunday, January 30, but you are free to join at any time - all you need to bring is an open heart and a journal to make your mark on! I recommend the Strathmore Visual Watercolor Journal, but any notebook or journal you have will work just fine.
