"April Bloom" is the fourth original release from the 2026 Snail Mail Studio Editions.  It is a 7" wide by 5" tall acrylic painting on 1/8" gessoboard.
 
Brighten your home with the fourth original release of 2026. I wanted to capture the sheer freshness and vitality of these first blossoms. There is such a beautiful tension in the way delicate flowers break out from the rough branches. To convey that feeling, I used loose, dancing brushstrokes. I wanted the painting, "April Bloom," to feel light and airy—like a long, slow breath of fresh spring air.
 
As part of the Snail Mail Studio Editions, this piece is designed to be a "tangible note" of beauty sent from my studio to your walls. The expressive brushwork provides a wonderful texture that catches the light beautifully.  It will need to be framed.  The frame in the photo is NOT INCLUDED.
